BIANCA caters to females with very dark skin who want to wear other hair colors but have a difficult time finding wigs in regular stores.  
It sounds so superficial but a little blonde wig can help liberate a girl with very dark skin if it actually looks good on her. It can help her think outside the “dark skin girl” box and opened up so many possibilities. Being stuck in that box can lower so many people’s quality of life and self perception. A lot of girls with dark skin are in unhealthy relationships because they think they can’t do any better because of their dark skin. They are accepting a lot of abuse and limiting themselves. A lot of them are living unfulfilled lives and have put their hopes and dreams on a shelf because they think having dark skin could stop them from getting ahead. They are in friendships and hang out in circles where they are patronized, ignored and/or dismissed while thinking that is the norm.  
Is getting a blonde wig going to solve all those issues? No. However, it is a start. An awakening. Is a blonde wig going make everyone think a dark skin girl is pretty? Probably not but it will make her think she is pretty. Knocking off the “forbidden blonde” limitation can help her to explore other ways that she can look the best she could with what she was naturally given. Even if the majority of the world doesn’t think she is a beauty queen. 
BIANCA also participates in activism against pigmentism (discrimination or harassment based on someone’s skin tone within an ethnicity or groups that are usually associated with each other due to their skin color).
